Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, self-directed, and dependable Systems Administrator to join our team, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our Microsoft-based infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems while providing Tier 2 technical support and contributing to daily IT operations.
Base salary range: $70,000- $75,000, depending on experience.
Essential Responsibilities

Administer and support Windows Server, Windows 11, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online.

Manage and maintain VMware ESXi/vCenter environments within a predominantly virtualized server environment (approximately 95% virtualized).

Monitor daily backups, verify successful completion, and perform documented recovery and restore testing.

Support the organization's Cisco-based LAN/WAN, VPN, and VoIP infrastructure, including routine maintenance and patching of network devices and services.

Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 hardware, software, systems, and connectivity issues; escalate issues when appropriate.

Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system changes.

Meet service expectations, including acknowledgment of requests within four business hours and resolution or escalation within two business days.

Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while collaborating effectively with users, departments, and external vendors.
Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.

1-3 years of systems administration experience in a Microsoft environment.

Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online.

Working knowledge of VMware ESXi/vCenter and backup/recovery processes.

Understanding of LAN/WAN, VPN, and VoIP technologies.

Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
