Product Development Engineer

What You'll Do:
- New Product Development and the sustainability of existing products.
- Product testing, validation, and documentation to ensure compliance and performance.
- Create production drawings, work instructions and standard operating procedures for manufacturing.
- Lead engineering changes and collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and production teams.
- Maintain design control for all product lines.
- Create and determine prototypes/design requirements for new and existing products.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle.
- Occasionally travel to visit potential users to gain insight into their processes and how they use current or developing products (as needed).
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related Engineering field such as mechanical or product development.
- Experience in product development and regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience writing test protocols, carrying out testing, and documenting results.
- Strong understanding of design controls, validation protocols, material science, and production documentation.
- Experience creating documentation for production such as Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures, transferring them to manufacturing, and documenting inspections.
- Experience working with CAD software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset with a willingness to travel when needed (less than 10%).
